The Knoedel move out into the world: first with a rocket into space and then back down to Earth again; full of energy "aui" (up) onto the glacier, then out into the vastness of the Atacama Desert. Searching for inspiration, the Knoedel came across the East Tyrolean mathematician and inventor Simon Stampfer (1790-1864). Stampfer is the inventor of the stroboscopic disk, which became the cornerstone of what is known as "stop motion" in fim technology. So, this is the Knoedel's stroboscopic disk: a New Alpime Chamber Music album featuring twelve musical short stories about miracles and wonder.
